Harlan County Bulls win tournament in Bristol

The Harlan County Bulls, a local fourth-grade AAU team, won the Spring Heat Shooters Tournament over the weekend in Bristol, Virginia.
The Bulls defeated the Tri-City Cougars 33-4 and the Johnson City Storm 44-16 in pool play. The Bulls then defeated the Northeast Tennessee Ballerz in the championship game by a score or 20-10.
Adrian “Brother” Fields led the Bulls against the Cougars with nine points, followed by Easton Engle with eight, Blake Johnson with six and Sam Carmical with three. Trey Creech, Carson Sanders, Mason Jones and Reagan Clem all chipped in with two points each.
Creech tossed in 13 points in the Bulls’ win over the Storm. He was followed in scoring by Johnson with nine and Sanders with six Fields, Engle and Carmical added four points each. Jones and Clem scored two apiece.
Fields led the Bulls in the championship game with six points. Creech and Engle both contributed five points while Sanders added four.
