Jackson hits three homers as Lady Dragons pound Jenkins

Addison Jackson had three hits in Harlan’s season-opening 8-4 loss to Cumberland Gap, Tenn., on Thursday.

Standout Harlan freshman catcher Addison Jackson hit her first home run of the season on Monday in the Lady Dragons’ 13-6 win at Jenkins. Jackson followed with homers two and three before the day was over, finishing with five RBI and four hits as part of the Lady Dragons’ 14-hit attack.
Ava Nunez added a double and two singles with three RBI. Carley Thomas had a triple and two singles. Ella Lisenbee had a triple and single. Emma Eversole and Mallory McNeil chipped in with one single each.
Thomas earned the win on the mound as ohs struck out one and walked six while giving up four earned runs on 15 hits.
