Only five games into the 2022 season, the Harlan Lady Dragons tripled their win total from 2021 with an 18-3 four-inning rout of visiting Barbourville on Thursday.
Freshman third baseman Ella Lisenbee led the Harlan offense with three RBI and four runs scored on two triples and a single; Carley Thomas added two doubles and a single with four RBI. Ava Nunez drove in three runs with a double and single. Addison Jackson and Mallory McNeil added two singles each. Ella Farley had a double. Emma Eversole and Annie Hoskins contributed one single each.
Thomas pitched a complete game with three strikeouts and two walks while giving up four hits.
