Dodgers record wins over Yankees, Royals

The Dodgers ran their record to 4-0 in the Tri-City Little League with a pair of victories last week, 14-4 over the Royals on Tuesday and 6-1 over the Yankees on Thursday.
Byron Shepherd and Carson Clark teamed on a two-hitter against the Yankees as Shepherd allowed one and struck out 11 in four innings.Clark fanned five and gave up one hit in two innings.
Elijah Creech led the Dodgers’ offense with an inside-the-park homer and a triple. Toby Lunsford and Kyllian Jackson had doubles. Clark added a single.
Brayden Howard had a double and Bryson Saylor added a single for the Yankees.
Hayden Grace struck out five and allowed three hits in five innings. Saylor and Robby Johnson gave up one hit each.
Creech drove in three runs against the Royals with an inside-the-park homer and a double. Shepherd drove in four runs with a double and single. Lunsford added one single.
Creech struck out two in one inning on the mound. Lunsford struck out six in three innings.
Colbie Clay and Frankie Ross led the Royals with doubles. Baylin Foutch had a single.
Kolbi Green struck out two in two innings on the mound. Foutch struck out one and Brantley McQueen struck out two as each pitched one inning.
