Harlan County freshman second baseman Alex Creech was the Bears’ top hitter in a pair of HC victories last week, earning Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week honors in the process.
He had three hits on Wednesday as the Bears won 10-4 on at Harlan, then added three more hits Friday in a 7-6 win over visiting Lee, Va. Creech also had the big hit for the Bears on Tuesday in a 7-4 loss to Harlan with a two-run single.
