The Harlan County Bulls won the Mother’s Day Shootout over the weekend in Kingsport.

The Harlan County Bulls, a local fourth-grade AAU squad, won four games over the weekend to capture the Mother’s Day Shootout title in Kingsport, Tenn.

Easton Engle poured in 24 points as the Bulls routed Tennessee Swarm 53-19 in their opening game. Trey Creech scored eight, followed by Sam Carmical with seven and Adrian Fields and Carson Sanders with six each.

Engle scored 18 and Creech added 13 in a 37-19 win over the Sharp Shooters. Fields and Carmical added four and two points, respectively.

Led by 18 points from 18 Engle and 11 from Sanders, the Bulls downed 865 Elitte 54-38. Fields tossed in 10, followed by Creech with seven, Carmical with six and Natalie Creech with two.

Creech scored 14 as the Bulls edged Tri City Jazz 38-36 in the championship game. Sanders contributed 11, followed by Engle with nine and Fields and Carmical with two each.
