Harlan County senior Caydon Shanks, pictured in action earlier this season, had two goals on Monday in the Bears’ 5-1 win over visiting Knox Central. Ray Splawn led HCHS with three goals.

Led by three goals from sophomore Ray Spawn, Harlan County defeated visiting Knox Central 5-1 on Monday.
Caydon Shanks added two goals, and Keaton Simpson contributed an assist.
Travis Burkhart had four goal keeper saves.
The 3-3-1 Black Bears play host to Letcher Central on Tuesday as part of a girls/boys doubleheader.
