Lady Jackets bounce back with win at Harlan

Middlesboro avenged a two-point loss at home Tuesday with a 40-30 victory on Thursday at Harlan in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Morgan Martin scored 16 and Millie Roberts added 12 for the Lady Jackets.
Addison Campbell led Harlan with eight points.
Jordyn Smith poured in 18 as Harlan coasted to a 28-10 victory in fifth- and sixth-grade action.

Cochran scores 21 as Lady Cats rout Cawood

Jaylee Cochran scored 21 points and Reagan Clem added 18 as Rosspoint coasted to a 52-10 win Thursday over visiting Cawood.
Rosspoint won 39-5 in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Shasta Brackett scored 15 and Kenadee Sturgill contributed 11 for the Lady Cats.
Cawood travels to Black Mountain on Tuesday. Rosspoint plays host to Wallins on Sept. 13.
