Harlan broke a four-match losing streak with a 25-12, 25-18, 25-9 win Thursday at Middlesboro in a district clash.
Carley Thomas led the Lady Dragons with 16 aces, along with four kills, two digs and one assist. Ella Farley added six digs, one ace, one kill and one assist. Kamryn Blanton had four digs, two assists, one ace and one kill. Ava Nunez contributed five aces and one kill. Emma Owens added three aces, three digs, one ace and one assist. Kaylee Roark had two digs and one assist. Campbell Nunez and Taylor Hall had one dig each.
The 8-9 Lady Dragons return to action Tuesday at Bell County.

Harlan County won the first set and led in the second before visiting Knox Central took control on the way to a 14-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-21 victory.
Kalista Dunn had 13 digs, eight kills, five service aces and two assists to lead the Lady Bears. Kylee Hoiska added 15 digs, two aces and one kill. Chloe Shelton added 12 assists and five digs. Destiny Cornett had nine assists, two digs and two blocks. Ashton Evans contributed eight digs, eight kills, six aces and one assist. Lindsay Hall added nine digs, seven kills and one ace. Brooklyn Wood contributed seven digs, one kill and one assist. Savannah Hill chipped in with five digs. Emilee Eldridge had two kills and two digs. Lesleigh Brown added one ace.
The 5-8 Lady Bears travel to Barbourville on Monday and play host to Williamsburg on Tuesday.
