Harlan County closed its district schedule Tuesday with a 25-7, 25-6, 25-10 win at Middlesboro.
Savannah Hill continued a strong finish to her freshman season with eight assists, two service aces, two digs and one kill. Ashton Evans added four aces, four digs and five kills. Lesleigh Brown added four aces and four digs. Kalista Dunn had eight aces, five kills, two digs and one assist. Chloe Shelton added seven assists and one dig. Lindsay Hall had eight aces, eight kills, two digs and one assist. Kylee Hoiska added four aces, one kill and one dig. Emilee Eldridge had one kill. Destiny Cornett added one assist.
Harlan County fell 25-19, 25-19, 25-12 at Knox Central on Monday.
Dunn led the Lady Bears with 11 digs, four kills, two aces and one assist. Hoiska had 10 digs, one ace and one kill. Shelton contributed seven assists and one dig. Evans added nine digs and two kills. Hall had five kills, three digs and one ace. Hill contributed three digs, two assists and one kill. Cornettt had three digs, three assists and one kill. Brown added one ace and one dig. Wood had one kill and one dig. Eldridge added one dig.
The Lady Bears will close their regular season schedule Thursday at home against Corbin.

Katelyn Daniels had four points, one kill and one ace. Savannah Hill added six kills, three digs, three aces and six points. Taylor Clem added five points, one kill, one ace and three digs. HCHS downed Middlesboro 21-19, 21-14 in junior varsity action Tuesday to improve to 11-7 on the season. Cornett had 10 points, along with nine assists, four aces, two kills and one dig to lead the Lady Bears. Moyers had six points and three kills. Hill added six kills, five digs and two points. Duff had six points, four digs and one ace. Shoupe added two digs, one points and one kill. Daniels had three kills and one dig.
HCHS defeated Rye Cove, Va., 25-19, 25-11 in earlier junior varsity action.
