With leading tackler R.W. Sanford out with an injury, the Harlan Green Dragons were in need of someone to step up and make plays on defense Friday against visiting Lynn Camp. Jeremiah Madden was more than happy to fill that void with a team-high seven tackles, including five solo stops and one sack as the Dragons limited Lynn Camp to only three yards of rushing. Madden earned this week’s honors as the Kellie Wilson Law Office Player of the Week for his clutch play on defense in helping Harlan improve its record to 6-2 going into Friday’s district showdown against Pineville.
