Balanced attack carries Wildcats past Cawood

Three Wildcats reached double figures as Evarts edged visiting Cawood 46-44 on Tuesday in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Dakota Maggard scored 15 to lead the Wildcats. Brady Freeman and Kobe Noe added 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Brady Smith scored 34 to again lead the Comets.
Cawood was a 31-29 winner in fifth- and sixth-grade action as Ryan Housley led the Comets with 10 points.
Cayson Farley scored 13 to lead the Wildcats.
