Harlan County junior guard Trent Noah became the 11th member of the county’s 2,000-point club with his 20-point effort Friday against Gatlinburg-Pittman in the finals of the Smoky Mountain Winter Classic.

Harlan County junior guard Trent Noah became the 11th member of the 2,000-point club in the county when he scored 20 points in the Black Bears’ win over Gatlinburg-Pittman Tenn., on Friday in the finals of the Smoky Mountain Winter Classic.
Noah is the first player from HCHS to join the club. He passed current Harlan County assistant coach Cameron Carmical as the school’s all-time leading scorer earlier this season.
Harlan’s Jordan Akal became the 10th member of the 2,000-point club when he reached the mark last season before finishing second in county and school history behind 1995 Mr. Basketball Charles Thomas.
