JACES, Rosspoint advance to 5-6 county finals
James A. Cawood forward Adrian Fields worked inside for a shot in county tournament action Saturday. The Trojans advanced to the tournament finals with a 45-11 win Tuesday over Cumberland. Rosspoint downed Cawood 50-17 in the other semifinal.

Rosspoint and James A. Cawood rolled into the finals of the fifth- and sixth-grade county tournament with semifinal victories Tuesday at James A. Cawood.
Trey Creech scored 16 points and Hudson Faulkner added 11 in Rosspoint’s 50-17 win over Cawood.
Ryan Housley led the Comets with eight points.
Andrew Vance scored 14 and Win Cooper added 10 as JACES rolled past Cumberland 45-11.
Hunter Fuson paced the Redskins with nine points.
Cumberland will play Cawood on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the third-place game at Harlan County High School, followed by James A. Cawood taking on Rosspoint.
