The two top seeds rolled into the semifinals on Saturday in the seventh- and eighth-grade county tournament at James A. Cawood Elementary School.
Top-seeded Rosspoint struggled early against Black Mountain before pulling away in the second half for a 57-20 victory. Cole Cornett scored 20 and Gunnar Johnson added 17 for the Wildcats.
Shemar Carr led Black Mountain with 17 points.
Green Hills also overcame a slow start to down Wallins 38-20 as Dalton Halcomb scored 17 and Ethan Huff added for the Falcons.
Izack Saylor led Wallins with eight points.
Brady Smith scored 22 as Cawood edged Evarts 43-41 in a double-overtime thriller.
Brady Freeman led Evans with 21 points.
James A. Cawood downed Cumberland 53-29 as Landon Brock scored 18 for the Trojans. Kaden Jones and Bryson Bryant added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Hayden Grace scored 15 and Kayden Adams added 10 for the Redskins.
Rosspoint will play Green Hills and Cawood will take on James A. Cawood in the semifinals on Tuesday.
