HC splits doubleheader against visiting Knott Central

Harlan County split a freshman/junior varsity doubleheader Monday against Knott Central at James A. Cawood Elementary School, winning 50-41 in junior varsity action after falling 63-52 in a freshman game.
Freshman guard Reggie Cottrell scored 21 points and freshman forward Hunter Napier added 19 as the Bears improved to 7-5 in junior varsity action.
Sophomore guard Joe Honeycutt led the Patriots with 17 points. Gavin Mosley and Jaden Hall added 15 and 11 points, respectively.
Mosley scored 15 and Connor Napier added 10 to lead Knott in the freshman game.
Cottrell led the 1-4 Bears with 17 points. Napier added 12 points.
