Lady Dragons fall to Lynn Camp in All ‘A’ Classic despite 3-homer night

Harlan third baseman Ella Lisenbee hit her third home run of the season on Thursday in an 18-11 loss at Lynn Camp in 13th Region All “A” Classic action.

 

An impressive power display wasn’t enough to keep the visiting Harlan Lady Dragons alive in the 13th Region All “A” Classic as Lynn Camp overcame an early deficit to win 18-11 on Thursday.
Ella Lisenbee and Abbie Fields each hit home runs, the third of the season for both, and Ella Farley added an inside-the-park homer as part of an 18-hit attack. Addison Jackson had four hits, including a double. Farley and Lisenbee each had three hits, including a double and homer. Ava Nunez added a double and two singles. Annie Hoskins had a double and single. Fields, Amy Roman and Mallory McNiel contributed one hit each.
McNiel started in the circle and gave up 12 runs (nine earned) on 12 hits in 4 2/3 innings. Roman allowed three runs (two earned) in one inning. Lisenbee gave up three runs (two earned) while recording the final out.
The 1-10 Lady Dragons play host to Harlan County on Tuesday.
