Black Bears fall to Letcher Central in season-opening match

Harlan County goal keeper Travis Burkhart blocked an attempt by Letcher Central on Thursday in the Bears’ season-opening match. The visiting Cougars won 4-2 as Peyton Pierce scored two goals while Nathan Kiser and Kaleb Slone had one each. No statistics for the Bears were available.
