Several future high school standouts took advantage of the opportunity to show off their skills on the big court at Harlan County High School on Saturday in the Black Bears Panorama for county seventh- and eighth-grade teams.
Tucker Curtis dominated in the paint with 18 points and Brady Smith added 14 as Cawood opened the day with a 50-21 win over Cumberland.
Hayden Grace paced the Redskins with 14 points.
Trey Creech scored 12 points and Nathan Barger added 11 as Rosspoint downed Evarts 34-25.
Kobe Noe led the Wildcats with eight points.
Evan Jones also had a big game around the basket with 12 points as Black Mountain downed Green Hills 23-16.
Jaxon Shepherd and Dakota Halcomb each scored six for Green Hills.
Kaden Jones scored 15 points and Brayden Morris added 12 as James A. Cawood closed the day with a 59-28 win over Wallins.
Izack Saylor tossed in nine points and Ryan Day added seven for Wallins.
