Wallins, Black Mountain and Evarts were winners on Saturday in middle school basketball action at James A. Cawood Elementary School.
Hunter Napier poured in 18 points as Wallins claimed a 38-31 win over Rosspoint.
Brody Napier led Rosspoint with 15 points.
Guards Reggie Cottrell and Ray Splawn scored 16 and 13 points, respectively, as Black Mountain downed Cawood 43-21.
Jake Brewer and Bray Smith led Cawood with six points each.
Ashton Sizemore scored 14 and Aidan Reynolds added 11 as Evarts defeated Cumberland 33-15.
Aiden Craig paced Cumberland with six points.
Brady Smith scored 13 points and Ben Cochran added 12 as Cawood downed Cumberland 35-26 in fifth- and sixth-grade basketball action.
Hayden Grace led the Redskins with nine points.
Brenton Bargo and Brady Freeman each scored 12 as Evarts rolled past Wallins 39-15.
Tanner Daniels scored 15 for the Purple Devils.
Bryson Bryant led a balanced James A. Cawood attack with nine points in a 43-19 win over Black Mountain.
Noah Whitaker paced the Tigers with eight points.
Gunnar Johnson scored 17 points and Cole Cornett added 11 as Rosspoint defeated Green Hills 43-28.
