James A. Cawood’s Landon Brock was defended by Rosspoint’s Brayden Morris in county basketball action earlier this season. Rosspoint and JACES tied for the top seed in the county after wins Tuesday.

Rosspoint and James A. Cawood finished in a tie for the top seed in the upcoming fifth- and sixth-grade county tournament with wins Tuesday in their regular season finales at the S.H. Rowland Gymnasium.
Landon Brock and Colton Delaney each scored 10 points as JACES downed Green Hills 41-20.
Ethan Huff paced the Falcons with 11 points.
Brayden Morris scored 17 and Cole Cornett tossed in 10 as Rosspoint rolled past Cumberland 46-19.
Kayden Adams led the Redskins with six points.
Tanner Daniels poured in 24 points as Wallins defeated Black Mountain 36-21.
Dylan Madden scored 10 to lead Black Mountain.
Evarts defeated Cawood 43-38 in other action, but no scoring information was submitted.
The county’s seventh- and eighth-grade teams complete their regular season on Thursday at JACES.
