Wallins’ Evan Simpson guarded James A. Cawood’s Terry Delaney in middle school basketball action earlier this season. Wallins improved to 10-0 on the season with a win over the Trojans on Thursday.

Wallins completed a perfect regular season at 10-0 with a 51-47 win Thursday over James A. Cawood in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Connor Daniels scored 15 to lead the Purple Devils. Ethan Simpson and Trenton Cole added 14 and 10 points, respectively.
Jaycee Carter poured in 29 points to lead the Trojans.
Jeremiah Madden and Shemar Carr each scored 10 points as Black Mountain overpowered Cumberland 46-6.
Evarts defeated Cawood 43-38 in previously unreported fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Kobe Noe scored 11 and Bradon Middleton added 10 for the Wildcats.
Brady Smith scored 26 for the Comets.
