Rosspoint’s Brody Napier battled with Cawood’s Brayden Fultz for a loose ball in seventh- and eighth-grade county tournament action Saturday at James A. Cawood Elementary School.

Evarts, James A. Cawood and Rosspoint were all double-digit winners Saturday evening in the seventh- and eighth-grade county tournament at James A. Cawood.
Aidan Reynolds scored 17 as Evarts knocked off Cumberland 38-17.
Sedrick Washington led the Redskins with seven points.
Led by 12 points from guard Kaden Jones, JACES defeated Black Mountain 40-27.
Reggie Cottrell paced the Tigers with 13 points.
Blake Hensley scored 10 points and Brody Napier added eight as Rosspoint downed Cawood 32-22.
Jake Brewer led Cawood with 10 points.
Top-seeded Wallins will play James A. Cawood at 6 and Rosspoint will take on Evarts at 7 in the semifinals Thursday at JACES. The championship and consolation games are set for Saturday evening at Harlan County High School.
