Dragons fall to Lynn Camp in All ‘A’ Classic

Harlan’s Jeremiah Mills was safe at second base in action earlier this season. The Green Dragons fell 8-3 to Lynn Camp on Tuesday.

Lynn Camp moved on in the All “A” Classic with an 8-3 victory Tuesday at Harlan.
Three Lynn Camp pitchers limited the Dragons to two hits as Evan Browning and Shane Lindsey each had singles. Luke Ledington gave up one run on one hit in four innings with seven strikeouts and two walks. Chance Wyatt allowed one run on one hit in 2 2/3 innings with six strikeouts and one walk. Spencer Gilbert had a strikeout to close out the game.
Chance Wyatt led Lynn Camp at the plate with two RBI on two hits. Micah Engle also drove in two runs with one hit. Duane Sparks added two hits. Ethan Blevins contributed one hit.
Jared Moore allowed three unearned runs on five hits as the Harlan starter with five strikeouts and three walks in five innings. Ethan Cornett allowed four runs on one hit in 1 2/3 innings. John Mark Bryson and Jeremiah Mills walked two batters each in Lynn Camp’s five-run seventh inning. Aiden Johnson recorded the final out.
Harlan (2-3) returns to action Friday at home against Clay County.
