Kerrigan Creech retired all 12 batters she faced in Harlan County’s season opener Friday at Jenkins. Creech struck out seven in her perfect game effort as the Lady Bears coasted to a 14-0 victory.
Harlan County exploded for 11 runs in the fourth inning to end the game after four innings.
Alle Galloway drove in four runs on two singles to lead the HCHS offense. Brenna Early had a double and single and drove in three runs. Hailey Austin added two singles. Brandy Adams had a triple.  Brittleigh Estep added a double and two RBI. Joselyn Lee, Jacey Lewis, Maddie Blair, and Creech added one hit each.
Harlan County returns to action Tuesday at Knox Central.
