Lady Cats take control in second quarter in win at JACES

Rosspoint took control in the second quarter with its defense and rolled to a 36-17 win Thursday at James A. Cawood.
Lindsey Skidmore led the Lady Cats with 19 points. Maliyah Washington scored eight.
Hayley Ward paced JACES with 11 points.
Lauren Lewis scored 10 and Shasta Brackett added eight as Rosspoint stayed unbeaten in county action with a 32-18 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Taylynn Napier led the Trojanettes with eight points.
Kenadee Sturgill scored eight as Rosspoint won 17-3 in a junior varsity game.
