Harlan’s Dylan Cox and Williamsburg’s Andrew Brown went after the ball in middle school basketball action Monday. Williamsburg pulled away in the second half for a 55-37 win.

Green Dragons fall to Williamsburg

Harlan suffered its first loss against a Class A opponent on Monday, falling 55-37 to visiting Williamsburg in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.
Bowling scored 18 and Ellis tossed in 16 to lead the Jackets.
Baylor Varner led the 7-3 Dragons with nine points.
Williamsburg rolled to a 39-16 win in the fifth-and sixth-grade game against a short-handed Harlan squad.
Jaxson Perry led the Dragons with 11 points.
