Sophomore guard Ella Karst scored 18 points in Harlan County’s 58-51 win Tuesday over Leslie County in the Lady Redhounds Christmas Bash at Corbin.

Harlan County bounced back from an ugly loss to Somerset a day earlier by knocking off one of the 14th Region’s top teams on the second day of play from the Lady Redhounds Christmas Bash at Corbin.
Ella Karst scored 18 points and Jaylin Smith added 14 as the Lady Bears defeated Leslie County 58-51 on Tuesday, avenging a loss at home seven days ago to the Lady Eagles.
Courtney Hoskins and Emily Bowling each scored 16 to lead the 4-4 Lady Eagles.
The Lady Bears will play Jackson County in the fifth-place game on Wednesday at 5:30.
