Balanced attack carries Dragons to win at Clay

Harlan junior center WIll Austin, pictured in action earlier this season, scored 18 points on Thursday in the Green Dragons’ win at Clay County.

With four Green Dragons in double figures, Harlan closed the regular season with a 21-9 record following a 75-66 win Thursday at Clay County.
Senior guard Jordan Akal scored 21 points to lead Harlan. Will Austin added 18 points, followed by Kyler McLendon with 15 and Jaedyn Gist with 12.
Hayden Harris paced the Tigers with 23 points. Landon Dezarn added 12.
Harlan returns to action Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the 52nd District Tournament at Bell County High School against Middlesboro.
