Carley Thomas pitched a complete game Tuesday and added two hits in Harlan’s 19-7 win at Barbourville.

The Harlan Lady Dragons put an end to a seven-game losing streak in resounding fashion Monday at Barbourville, pounding out 16 hits in a 19-7 victory.
Ava Nunez led the Harlan offense with five hits in five at bats, including two doubles and three singles with four RBI. Addison Jackson drove in two runs with a double and two singles. Ella Farley singled three times and drove in four runs. Ella Lisenbee and Carley Thomas each added a triple and single. Amy Roman had a single.
Thomas pitched a complete game, giving up 10 hits while striking out four and walking two.
Allie Gibbs led the 1-23 Lady Tigers with a double and two singles. Makayla McKeehan singled twice.
The 5-20 Lady Dragons close their regular-season schedule Thursday at Letcher Central and will play Middlesboro on Tuesday in the first round of the 52nd District Tournament.
