Harlan sophomore wing Aymanni Wynn came up with a loose ball and headed down court in scrimmage action Monday against visiting Barbourville. Wynn scored 12 points in the Lady Dragons’ 55-27 victory.

The Harlan Lady Dragons set the tone early with defense, scoring the first 11 points on the way to a 55-27 rout of visiting Barbourville on Monday.
Sophomore forward Kylie Noe was one of three Lady Dragons in double figures with 14 points. Sophomore forward Aymanni Wynn and junior guard Emma Owens added 12 and 10 points, respectively. Leah Davis scored nine. Carley Madden chipped in with four points. Raegan Goodman, Addison Jackson and Abbi Fields added two each.
The win improved Harlan’s record to 3-2 on the summer. The Lady Dragons defeated Hazard and West Jessamine and lost to Bell County and Perry Central.
The Harlan junior varsity team fell 34-19 to Barbourville.
Harlan returns to action Wednesday at Leslie County.
