Harlan County guard Jonah Swanner worked around a Chapmanville, W.Va., defender as center Jaycee Carter waited for a pass in summer action Friday in Lexington.

LEXINGTON — Both Harlan County teams were eliminated Sunday in tournament play at the Mack, Miller and Lofton High School Tournament at Frederick Douglass High School.
The varsity Bears fell to the host school, Frederick Douglass, 74-65. Daniel Carmical poured in 28 points and Maddox Huff added 19 to lead the Bears, who finished 2-2 in Lexington over the weekend and have an 11-3 record overall. Jonah Swanner tossed in 10 points. Jaycee Carter added eight.
Harlan County fell 50-31 to Woodford County in junior varsity action.
Terry Michael Delaney and Hunter Napier scored eight points each to lead the Bears. Ethan Simpson added six points. Reggie Cottrell contributed three. Taelor Haywood, Aiden Reynolds and Brennan Blevins scored two each.
Harlan County returns to action next week in a team camp at Coastal Carolina.
