Middleton powers Bears to middle school win over Whitley

Braydon Middleton ran for two touchdowns and added an interception as Harlan County rolled past visiting Whitley County 28-8 on Thursday in eighth-grade football action.
The Bears took an early lead on Brayden Morris’ 3-yard touchdown run.
Landon Brock teamed with Kayden Adams for a 50-yard touchdown pass and a 12-0 lead.
Middleton scored on 12-yard run for an 18-0 lead, then added a 53-yard TD run before Morris added the two-point conversion for a 26-0 lead.
Whitley closed the scoring with an 11-yard touchdown run.
Harlan County fell 34-14 in a seventh-grade game.
Sam Carr had touchdown runs of 25 and 12 yards for the Bears and also added a two-point conversion.
