Harlan coach Shawna Cox talked to the Lady Dragons during action earlier this season. Harlan suffered losses to Williamsburg and Leslie County earlier this week to close its regular-season schedule.

Harlan closed its regular-season schedule with a pair of losses at home, falling 25-14, 26-24, 25-18 on Monday against Williamsburg and 25-12, 25-20 25-17 on Tuesday against Leslie County.
Ella Farley led the Lady Dragons against Williamsburg with 12 digs and one assist. Emma Owens adde 11 digs, two assists, one kill and one ace. Marissa Marlowe had four kills, three blocks and one dig. Ava Nunez added six digs, three aces and one kill. Annie Hoskins chipped in with three digs, two aces, four kills, one block and one assist. Carley Thomas had three digs and one ace. Campbell Nunez added two assists, one ace and one dig. Kendyll Blanton added three digs and one kill. Mallory McNiel and Tess Bryson had two digs each.
Farley had 12 digs to lead Harlan against Leslie County. Owens added nine digs and one ace. Thomas contributed five digs, three aces and one kill. Hoskins had three digs, two kills, one ace, one assist and one block. Ava Nunez added six digs and one kill. Marlowe had two kills and one block. Campbell Nunez contributed two digs, one ace and one assist. Blanton had two digs and one assist. Bryson added one dig.
The 8-13 Lady Dragons, who have lost four straight and eight of the last nine, will take next week off before opening district tournament play on Oct. 17.
