Senior guards Bella Banner and Kiersten Young teamed for 41 points as visiting Scott County won 59-52 on Saturday at Harlan County in a preseason scrimmage.
Banner scored 24 and Young tossed in 17 for the Lady Cardinals, who trailed 16-10 after one quarter before using a surge late in the half to go up 30-28 at the break.
Sophomore guard Jaylee Cochran and freshman guard Reagan Clem each scored 10 points to lead the Lady Bears. Taylynn Napier added nine points.
Harlan County will play its second scrimmage on Saturday at Betsy Layne against Phelps. The Lady Bears open the regular season on Dec. 2 at Knox Central.

Harlan County won 38-27 in junior varsity action as Napier, an eighth-grade guard, led the Lady Bears with 10 points. Vanessa Griffith scored seven, while Natalie Moore added six. Kenadee Sturgill and Raegan Landa scored five each. Shasta Brackett tossed in three. Khloe Carr added two.
Riley Nelson scored five while Bella Hamilton and Laila Tanksley added four each for Scott County.
