Cawood’s Emily Stewart and Wallins Hailie Hensley went after a loose ball in action from the championship game of the Black Bears Preseason Tournament at Harlan County High School on Saturday. Hensley scored seven points in the Lady Devils’ 34-24 victory.

Wallins established itself as the early favorite in the seventh-and eighth-grade division by winning the Black Bears Preseason Tournament title on Saturday at Harlan County High School.
Whitley Teague scored 14 points and Preslee Hensley added 11 as the Lady Devils defeated Cawood 34-24 in the championship game.
Maddi Middleton led Cawood with 13 points.
Savanna Hill and Halie Hensley each scored 12 points as Wallins coasted past Rosspoint 29-11 in the first semifinal game.
Sophie Day paced Rosspoint with four points.
Middleton scored 17 points as Cawood edged James A. Cawood 26-23 in the opening semifinal.
Jaiden Marlowe led JACES with 11 points.
James A. Cawood opened the tournament with a 36-34 win over Evarts.
Hayley Ward and Marlowe each scored 11 points for the Trojanettes.
Tori Robinson poured in 18 points to lead the Lady Cats.
