HCHS sweeps Bell in tennis action
March 24, 2022
The Harlan County High School boys and girls tennis swept a match from visiting Bell County on Monday, winning 7-2 in boys action and 8-1 in the girls competition.
“I’m very proud of our squads. It was a long two weeks of matches with no practices in between,” Harlan County coach Caleb Bailey said. “I know these kids are tired and worn out and I couldn’t be more proud of how hard we work. But they fought through the exhaustion tonight with a win. I’m proud of the boys squad. We had some out tonight and we had a few step up to the plate to deliver a win for us.”
Harlan County returns to action Monday at home against Pineville.
