Led by seven baskets and 15 points from senior guard Cheyenne Rhymer, Harlan jumped out to a 24-12 lead after one quarter on Monday in the Smoky Mountain Winter Classic in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and coasted to a 61-45 victory over Owsley County.
Rhymer finished with 37 points for the 3-7 Lady Dragons, who advance to the tournament semifinals on Tuesday. Rhymer and Addison Campbell each had two baskets in the second quarter as Harlan held a 37-27 lead at halftime. Rhymer added 13 points in the third period as the lead grew to 55-38.
Kamilla Marcum scored 18 points and Delaney Smith added 13 for the Lady Owls.

Cheyenne Rhymer was one of three Lady Dragons in double figures with 21 points. Peyshaunce Wynn and Raegan Goodman added 15 and 11 points, respectively.
