Evarts and Wallins rolled into the semifinals of the fifth- and sixth-grade county tournament with first-round wins Tuesday at James A. Cawood Elementary School. Evarts defeated Black Mountain 47-29 and Wallins routed James A. Cawood 45-6.
Rayce Bryant score 15 and Carson Clark added 14 to lead Evarts.
Carter Burkhart scored 16 and Jaiden Turner added 11 to pace the Tigers.
The Purple Devils were led by Carter Collett with 12 points and
Brylee Southerland led the Trojans with three points.
The semifianls are set for Thursday with Rosspoint playing Cawood and Evarts taking on Wallins.
