Rosspoint and Evarts earned spots in tonight’s fifth- and sixth-grade county championship with victories Friday at James A. Cawood Elementary School.
Weston Nolan scored 18 points to lead Rosspoint to a 39-27 win over Cawood.
Isaiah Myers led Cawood with 17 points.
Rayce Bryant led Evarts past Wallins 49-44 with a 24-point effort.
Sam Carmical scored 25 points to lead the Purple Devils. Maddox Helton added 10.
Wallins will play Cawood in the third-place game at 5:30 at Harlan County High School. Rosspoint and Evarts will meet for the championship at 6:30.
