The Harlan County girls improved to 6-0 on the season with recent victories over Knox Central and Middlesboro. The boys teams lost in both matches and fell to 4-2 on the season.
“It was a great week of matches for our girls. They’ve worked really hard and the results are speaking for themselves. We have a core of seniors whose leadership is spreading across our roster,” Harlan County coach Caleb Bailey said. “Our boys have had a good two weeks. This past week was a major test against good programs, and we fell short of our goals. The boys have some shot making and net work abilities we need to get down. Outside of Elijah and Josh the boys are fairly all still learning. We are heading to our week off of matches with our heads held high and eyes still on the goals we want to achieve.”
Harlan County will play Barbourville at home on April 7.
