


Four members of the Harlan County girls basketball team were busy over the weekend in Louisville at the Run 4 The Roses Classic, which included 2,200 total teams representing 48 states and 11 countries at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville.
Sophomore guard Reagan Clem was a member Lexington Crossover La Familia E40 and played in the tournament for playing graduating in 2029.
Sophomore guard Jaycee Simpson was a member of the Northside Queens, which included all 13th Region players and won the 2029 division.
Eighth grade forward Crissalynn Jones was a member of Richmond Heat and played in both the 2028 and 2030 divisions.
Eighth grade center Jocelyn Miracle was a member of Richmond Heat and played in the 2030 division.
The Lady Bears bring back most of their key players from last season and recently compiled an 18-3 record in their summer schedule.
“I am proud of them for the growth they have shown through out the summer,” Harlan County coach Gary Greer said. “They have represented our program well.”
