Harlan bounced back from two earlier losses to close play in the Smoky Mountain Winter Classic at Gatlinburg, Tenn., with a 53-26 rout of Lake Oconee Academy (Ga.) on Wednesday.
Sophomore guard Izack Saylor led the Dragons with 18 points.
Harlan trailed 9-4 after one quarter before outscoring the Titans 16-5 in the quarter to take control. Braxton Rowe scored seven points in the period as the Dragons built a 20-14 lead at halftime.
Saylor hit three 3s and scored 11 points in the second quarter as the Dragons’ lead grew to 36-20.
The 4-8 Dragons return to action on Jan. 10 at Oneida Baptist when they will take on Jackson County at 4 p.m. in the first round of the 13th Region All “A” Classic.
