Nolan powers Wildcats to a sweep at Cumberland

Weston Nolan led Rosspoint to a sweep on Thursday at Cumberland on the final night of play in the county middle school basketball league regular season.
Nolan scored 23 points as the Wildcats won 46-40 in the seventh- and eighth-grade game. Parker Long and Myles Jenkins added 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Brycen Saylor scored 19 and Tobey Lunsford added 10 for Cumberland.
Nolan scored 20 in a 37-17 win in fifth- and sixth-grade action.
Javonte Stewart paced the Redskins with nine points.
Cumberland won 9-6 in a fourth-grade game as Tyson Surber led the Redkins with three points.
