After leading North Laurel to a second straight 13th Region Tournament title and trip to Rupp Arena for the Sweet Sixteen, senior forward Reece Davidson is the choice as the 13th Region Coaches Association All-Region player of the year. Davidson led the Jaguars with averages of 20 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
Whitley County’s Eric Swords was selected as coach of the year after leading the Colonels to a 20-12 record with their first trip to the regional tournament in 14 years and their first regional tournament win in 52 years before falling to Bell County in the regional semifinals.
