Green Dragons defeat Middlesboro, Barbourville in summer games

Harlan’s Jaxson Perry (2) and Kobe Noe surrounded a Middlesboro ball handler in summer basketball action Thursday at Barbourville. The Dragons improved to 5-1 on the summer with wins over Middlesboro and Barbourville.

The Harlan Green Dragons ran their summer record to 5-1 with a pair of wins Thursday at Barbourville High School.

Junior forward Kobe Noe hit nine of 11 3-pointers and poured in 29 points as the Dragons rolled past Middlesboro 70-30. Jaxson Perry and Legend Mimes each added 15 points. Braxton Rowe scored six, followed by Brayden Lucas with three and Ethan Huff with two.

Kobe Noe scored 12 and Huff added 10 as the Dragons downed Barbourville 37-30. Mimes scored nine, and Rowe added six.
