Harlan broke a four-game losing streak to start the season and left little doubt about it starting a running clock early in the third quarter on the way to an 86-30 rout at Lynn Camp. The Dragons hit 15 3-pointers in the win.
Sophomore center Kobe Noe was one of four Dragons in double figures with 18 points. Dylan Cox added 14 points. Logan Mimes and Braxton Rowe came off the bench to add 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Junior guard Landon Rose scored 20 points to lead the 2-5 Wildcats.
The Dragons hit five 3-pointers in the first quarter, led by two from Huff, as Harlan raced to a 26-9 lead.
Rowe hit three 3s in the second quarter and Noe added three baskets as the Dragons’ advantage grew to 48-17 at halftime.
Cox connected on four baskets in the third quarter, including three 3s, as the lead grew to 70-23.
Harlan travels to Middlesboro on Friday for the second game of a girls/boys doubleheader. Lynn Camp returns to action Thursday against Trinity Christian.

Harlan ran its record to 2-0 in junior varsity action with a 43-28 win.
Braxton Rowe scored 10 points and Eli Noe added nine to lead the Dragons. Caiden Mefford scored eight, followed by Brody Brock with six, Dylan Collins with five, Nate Cochran with four and Hunter Brock with one.
Tucker Neal scored nine and Cason Mills added eight for Lynn Camp.
